Metropolitan Joanikije promotes new book in Budva

Metropolitan Joanikije of Montenegro and the Littoral held a book promotion for his work, ‘Du spirit diše gdje hoće’ (The Spirit Breathes Where It Wills), as part of the ‘Cyrillic’ festival in Budva. The event took place at the Square Between Churches in the Old Town of Budva.

During the literary evening, speakers including Archpriest Aleksandar Lekić, Professors Sinisa Jelusic and Dusan Krcnovic, and Radomir Uljarevic discussed the book. Metropolitan Joanikije addressed the gathering, stating that his writing is driven by a sense of debt to predecessors who left a significant spiritual and cultural heritage. He emphasized the importance of engaging with sacred scripture, theological literature, and the preservation of tradition.
