Metrópoles Catwalk fashion event debuts in Brasília

The third edition of Metrópoles Catwalk is currently taking place at the Arena Mané Garrincha in Brasília, running from September 14 to 18. The event features over 30 brands from across Brazil, showcasing spring/summer 2026 collections. Notable participants include model Yasmin Brunet, who is scheduled to walk for brands such as Biruta and Zinc Complements, as well as Vivi Orth and Negra Li.

Recent runway segments have featured brands such as Lum, Mabô, and the Ceará-based label Bruno Olly Studio. The event's scenography, designed by Ícaro de Castro Melo, utilizes a tropical theme with a runway shaped like ocean waves to contrast with the stadium's concrete structure.

In international fashion news, Brazilian model Mauria Caetano achieved a milestone at New York Fashion Week by being selected to open the Spring/Summer 2027 show for Ulla Johnson. Caetano, originally from Niterói, has previously walked for major global brands including Dior, Balenciaga, and Jacquemus.
