MetrôRio implements digital accessibility tools and Libras translation

MetrôRio has implemented new digital accessibility tools on its website to improve inclusivity for various user profiles. Developed by Hand Talk, the solution provides content translation into Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) via a virtual translator named Maya, who features a customized MetrôRio uniform.

The update includes several assistive resources designed for users with visual impairments, dyslexia, color blindness, and neurocognitive disorders. These features include font size and style adjustments, line spacing controls, a high-contrast mode, and navigation aids such as a site reader and magnifying glass functionality.
