MetrôRio launches registration drive for intermunicipal transit benefits

MetrôRio has initiated a registration and reactivation drive for the Bilhete Único Intermunicipal (BUI) and the Tarifa Social benefit at the Botafogo station. The service, organized by Prodata Mais Mobi, is available on weekdays from 8:00 to 17:00 until November 6.

Following the Botafogo phase, the initiative will expand to other stations. Users can also manage BUI activation or reactivation digitally via the Riocard Mais application or the official website. To maintain the R$ 5 metro fare, passengers must successfully complete facial biometrics validation at the turnstiles by looking directly into the camera during card validation.
