MetrôRio provides lost and found guidance for Rock in Rio attendees
MetrôRio has issued guidance for festival attendees to recover lost personal items during the Rock in Rio event. The concessionaire maintains a lost and found service where items found on trains or at stations are cataloged and stored for up to 60 days.
To report a missing item, passengers can use the service form on the MetrôRio website, select the “Achados e Perdidos” option, and provide details such as the station, date, time, and a thorough description of the object (including color, brand, and material). Requests can also be made via the website's chat or through their telephone center at 0800 595 1111.
If an item is located, retrieval must be scheduled at the Espaço do Cliente located at the Carioca/Centro station. Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 17:00, with reduced hours on holidays and the second Saturday of each month. So far this year, the system has recorded over 12,000 lost items, ranging from common belongings like documents and keys to unusual items such as drones and hearing aids.
