Metso expands mining service network and secures €25m equipment order

Metso is expanding its global footprint through significant investments in service infrastructure and new equipment contracts. In South America, the company has invested approximately EUR 45 million over two years to modernize its service center network. This expansion includes a new facility in Minas Gerais, Brazil, scheduled to open in early 2028, as well as enhanced capabilities in Chile, Peru, and Argentina to support the region's critical mineral mining industry.

Additionally, Metso has secured a €25 million agreement to supply minerals processing equipment for the Yenipazar polymetallic mining project in Türkiye. The contract, signed with Aldridge Mineral Madencilik A. Ş., involves providing a range of technology for the greenfield development, including SAG mills, ball mills, and flotation cells to process copper, lead, zinc, gold, and silver.
