Mette Frederiksen rejects plastic surgeon's unsolicited appearance advice

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has publicly rejected unsolicited advice regarding her physical appearance after an anonymous plastic surgeon offered to ‘fix that little spot on your nose’ via Instagram.

Frederiksen shared the interaction on social media, noting that the message arrived shortly after her return from a visit to Ukraine. She responded firmly, stating, ‘No, of course. I am perfectly satisfied with my body and I really do not need the opinion of a male plastic surgeon for that.’

The Prime Minister highlighted that such superficial criticism is a recurring issue for women in the public eye. She noted that over the years, she has received countless messages commenting on her teeth, hair, and nose, as well as suggestions to use Botox. She used the incident to encourage women to embrace their natural appearance and urged others to focus on substantive issues rather than beauty standards.
