Metz Consumer Electronics begins TV production in Nuremberg

Metz Consumer Electronics has officially launched its new television production line in Nuremberg, marking a major milestone in the company's relocation from Zirndorf. The new facility, located at Sigmundstraße 189, features a reorganized 96-meter-long production line alongside a specialized manufacturing area for large-format televisions.

The first device to roll off the assembly line was a limited special model, the ‘Metz Cubus compact R’, a 32-inch television. CEO Dr. Norbert Kotzbauer emphasized that the move allows the company to optimize production structures while maintaining its ‘Made in Germany’ identity through high-quality domestic development and manufacturing.

The opening ceremony included representatives from the City of Nuremberg, Bayerischer Rundfunk, and Zhang Hongjun, President of Shenzhen Chuangwei-RGB Electronics Co Ltd, representing Metz's parent company, SKYWORTH.
