The creator claimed that the data was not necessarily obtained through a new hack, but was instead accessible through various existing databases and services such as People Data Labs and MIX Database.

Mr Bert stated that the intent of sharing the information was not to perform doxing or cause embarrassment, but to serve as a warning. He emphasized that the incident highlights ongoing vulnerabilities in Indonesia's data protection landscape, contradicting claims that the nation's data security is in a good state.
