MEXC cryptocurrency exchange to end services in Russia and Belarus

Cryptocurrency exchange MEXC has announced it will discontinue services for users located in Russia and Belarus. The company stated the decision is part of its ongoing efforts to enhance global compliance.

Rather than a single universal cutoff date, affected users will receive individual notifications via email and in-app messages. These communications will provide specific timelines and procedures for closing open trading positions and withdrawing assets. MEXC has assured users that their assets remain safe and secure throughout the transition process.

Users who do not receive a specific notification are not affected by this change and may continue to use the platform's services as usual. This move follows previous restrictions by the exchange, which in May 2026 limited new futures positions for users in Russia, Ukraine, Armenia, and Belarus.
