MEXC launches Visa-linked Global Card for USDT spending

MEXC has launched the MEXC Global Card, a virtual Visa card designed to facilitate routine everyday spending using the stablecoin USDT. The card supports mobile payments through Apple Pay and Google Pay.

As part of the launch, MEXC is waiving purchase fees through September 30, after which a fee starting at 1% will apply. The card carries no issuance, annual, or top-up fees. Transactions utilize Visa’s exchange rates, and the company stated it does not apply additional exchange-rate markups.

The card features a tiered cashback program where users can earn between 4% and 10% in USDT rewards based on their VVIP status and M-Score. Monthly cashback is capped at 800 USDT for Elite-level users. Additionally, a MEXC Earn product offers up to 7% annualized returns on subscribed USDT.

Due to regional restrictions, U.S. residents are currently ineligible to apply. The launch comes amid rising trends in stablecoin-backed card spending, which reached a global volume of $1.04 billion in July.
