Mexicable Línea 3 construction in Naucalpan reaches 75% completion

The Mexicable Line 3 aerial transport system in Naucalpan has surpassed 75 percent of its construction. The project will link the municipality’s high‑elevation neighborhoods with the Cuatro Caminos Metro station, providing a fast, safe and environmentally friendly alternative for commuters. Municipal President Isaac Montoya highlighted Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez’s support, noting the line will serve roughly 40,000 passengers each day and cut travel times. Civil works are slated to finish within the current year, with commercial operation expected in the first months of 2027. The line stretches a little over 9.5 km, will include 11 stations after adding Alce Blanco, and will operate 278 cabins that hold ten passengers each, equipped with video surveillance, wireless internet, LED lighting and audio systems. The system is projected to benefit more than 60 communities and about 700,000 residents of the region.
