Mexican authorities charge suspects in separate homicide cases in Michoacán and Morelos

In the municipality of Tingambato, Michoacán, the State Attorney General's Office linked two women, Aide Guadalupe N and Martha Karina N, to the homicide of sisters Esbeidi C. and Marian C. Investigators said jealousy over a personal relationship motivated the crime, which involved surveillance of the victims' vehicle and a shooting at a packing plant. The women were placed in preventive detention and ordered to stand trial for qualified homicide.

Separately, the Morelos State Attorney General confirmed the killing of four family members – three women and a man – in Jonacatepec. The multihomicide is being investigated under strict gender‑perspective protocols, with forensic teams processing the scene and authorities pledging to use all investigative resources to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.
