Mexican authorities detain suspects in drug raids in Querétaro and Cancún
State prosecutors in Querétaro carried out simultaneous raids across several neighborhoods as part of the "Sinergia" operation. Police detained Mariana N and seized multiple doses of substances described as narcotics—including green herb, crystalline material and stone‑like drugs—along with weighing scales and an entire property linked to the investigation.
In Cancún, the "Blindaje" security strategy led municipal police, the National Guard, the army and the navy to stop two young men, Iván N and Joaquín N, after finding packets of green, dry marijuana. The seized drugs and the detained individuals were handed over to the Fiscalía General del Estado for further legal processing.
Both operations involved coordination between municipal, state and federal forces, and all evidence and suspects were placed at the disposal of the state prosecutor’s office.
