Mexican authorities distribute oat seeds to support livestock producers
In Aguascalientes, Governor Tere Jiménez distributed INIFAP-certified oat seeds to 1,900 producers across all municipalities. The initiative aims to plant 3,700 hectares of forage to support livestock, providing high-nutritional value feed that offers increased resistance to climate and disease.
In Coahuila, the municipal government of San Juan de Sabinas provided 10 tons of forage oat seed to 60 agricultural producers. This investment, totaling 210,100 pesos, is intended to cover 83 hectares of planting to strengthen local agricultural and livestock production and support the economy of rural families.
