Mexican authorities inspect municipal police bases in Tamasopo

The State Civil Guard (GCE), in coordination with the Secretariat of National Defense (SEDENA) and the National Guard, conducted inspections of municipal police facilities in Tamasopo. The review focused on verifying the operational conditions of the command post, the storage of weapons and ammunition, and compliance with collective official licensing requirements.

No negative incidents were reported during the inspection. Authorities also reviewed detention areas, cells, and security equipment. During the process, municipal personnel were urged to maintain valid trust and control evaluations, strengthen training, and ensure all duties are performed in strict accordance with the law.
