Mexico implements regional peace and health initiatives

In Oaxaca, Governor Salomón Jara Cruz and President Claudia Sheinbaum have launched the Peace Fair “Attention to the Causes” in Juchitán de Zaragoza. This coordinated effort between federal, state, and municipal governments aims to prevent violence and rebuild social fabric by providing 23 different services, including healthcare, dental consultations, vaccination, and psychological support.

In Tamaulipas, Mayor Patty Chío is coordinating with federal social welfare teams to facilitate the registration for the Universal Health Service in El Mante. The initiative, which runs through November, provides free medical consultations, studies, and medications for residents without social security.

Additionally, in Hidalgo, the municipality of Tezontepec de Aldama held a Peace Day and Health Fair involving the National Guard and various social welfare agencies to promote community well-being and security.
