Coordinated law‑enforcement actions under the "Blindaje Cancún" operation led Mexican police, the state prosecutor's office, the National Guard, the Army and the Navy to interdict narcotics in the tourist zone of Cancún. In one raid near the Kukulcán boulevard, four Cuban nationals – Ediberto, Nicolás, Pablo and Hans – were arrested and 194 doses of a marijuana‑like herb and 16 doses of a crystal‑like substance were seized.

A separate sweep in the Supermanzana 228 area resulted in the detention of two individuals, identified as Miriam de los Ángeles and Josué, and the seizure of several small bags containing a green herb resembling marijuana and a granular substance similar to crystal. All arrests and confiscated items were handed over to the competent authorities for further investigation.
