Mexican Charrería Federation prepares for 2026 National Championship

The Mexican Federation of Charrería held its monthly ordinary board meeting to coordinate preparations for the LXXXII National Charro Congress and Championship, titled “Andrés Nito Aceves.” The event is scheduled to take place from October 9 to November 1, 2026, at Arena Potosí in San Luis Potosí.

Led by President Salvador Barajas del Toro, the meeting addressed institutional, administrative, and sporting matters. Key updates included the Federation's participation in the Annual Assembly of the Charros Coordination of the American Union, where representatives from 14 U.S. states were present. Discussions also covered upcoming championship venues and the direct qualification scheme for the National Championship.
