Mexican cinema chains announce film re-releases and ticket promotions

Major Mexican cinema chains have announced new offerings for moviegoers. Cinépolis is hosting an exclusive re-release of James Cameron’s ‘Terminator 2: Judgment Day’ starting September 17. To celebrate the film’s 35th anniversary, the movie will be presented in a 4K remaster and available in 3D, 4DX, and D-BOX formats across more than 100 Cinépolis locations. Pre-sales for traditional and 3D formats are currently underway.

Separately, Cinemex has launched a summer promotion called ‘Cinemex Manía’. From August 24 to August 27, 2026, the chain is offering tickets for 35 pesos. This pricing applies to traditional and premium formats, including 2D, 3D, and Dolby Atmos, for various films currently in their lineup.
