Mexican cultural venues celebrate milestones in music and tradition

Auditorio TELMEX in Guadalajara will mark 19 years of operation on September 1. Since its inception, the venue has hosted over 1,700 shows and has maintained a diverse programming agenda. Director Carlos Puga noted that the facility has achieved significant global standing, ranking fourth worldwide in ticket sales within the auditorium category in 2025, following 124 shows. Puga emphasized the importance of industry collaboration and continuous service improvements, including audio system upgrades and enhanced food and beverage offerings.

In Mexico City, singer Adrián Bedolla, known as ‘El Jilguero’, will celebrate 16 years of his musical career with a performance at the Teatro Centenario Coyoacán 2 on September 4. The sold-out event aims to promote traditional Mexican mariachi music, featuring a musical journey spanning from the 1920s to the present. The repertoire includes tributes to artists such as Juan Gabriel, Pedro Infante, and Vicente Fernández, with the goal of returning mariachi music to prominent theatrical stages.
