Mexican Deputy Narro supports educational reforms and demands school security

Federal Deputy Blanca Araceli Narro Panameño has expressed support for the educational policies of President Claudia Sheinbaum, specifically regarding the planned dissolution of the Unified System for the Career Advancement of Teaching Staff (USICAMM). During a hearing with Secretary of Public Education Mario Delgado Carrillo, Narro emphasized that the transformation of the teaching career system must include the participation of the National Union of Education Workers (SNTE) through democratic and transparent processes.

In addition to educational reforms, Narro called for increased security within school facilities. She stated that families, teachers, students, and the government must work together to ensure that schools remain safe spaces for the entire community.
