Mexican educators hold forums to implement New Mexican School model
Educational forums are being held in Mexico to strengthen the implementation of the ‘Nueva Escuela Mexicana’ (New Mexican School) model. These gatherings focus on pedagogical dialogue, collective construction, and project-based didactic planning.
In Morelos, approximately 400 teachers and educational representatives from Mexico City, Estado de México, Guerrero, Morelos, Puebla, and Tlaxcala met at the Xochitepec Convention Center. The forum aims to share community school experiences, identify challenges, and enrich teaching practices through the exchange of ideas.
Simultaneously, the National Union of Education Workers (SNTE) organized a ‘Pedagogical Encounter Forum’ in Campeche. This event involves teachers, directors, and supervisors from primary, secondary, and telesecundaria levels. The goal is to provide educators with tools for project-based planning and to facilitate dialogue regarding the new educational model.
