Mexican football sees rising talents in refereeing and national team play
In Mexican football, referee Alexis Salcido Morga has reached a new milestone in his professional career. The 21-year-old official recently debuted in the Liga MX Sub-21 Basic Forces, serving as the second assistant referee during the match between Santos Laguna and Pachuca.
Morga, who previously officiated in the Third Professional Division, Liga Segunda División Premier, and Women's Sub-19, has progressed through various regional leagues to reach this professional level. He began his career at age 17 and moved to Durango to further his training.
Meanwhile, footballer Isaías Violante has achieved significant success, moving from his roots in Veracruz to becoming a starter for the Mexican National Team. After developing with Toluca and winning a Liga MX title, Violante joined Club América, where he has secured a starting position. He recently made his debut as a starter for the senior national team in a friendly match against Peru under the management of Rafael Márquez.
