Hacienda de los Morales begins construction of new urban park

Mayor Juan Manuel Navarro Muñiz has launched the construction of a new urban park in the Hacienda de los Morales neighborhood. The project involves an investment of 16.5 million pesos aimed at transforming one of the municipality's oldest recreational areas into a modern, safe, and functional space.

The new park will cover more than 7,400 square meters and is expected to benefit over 11,000 people directly and indirectly. Planned improvements include the renovation of a multi-functional court, the construction of rest areas, pedestrian walkways, children's playgrounds, an outdoor gym, and green spaces. To enhance security and usability, the project will also feature LED lighting, perimeter fencing, and a new main entrance.

Additionally, the municipal government is working on hydraulic infrastructure in the neighboring Genaro Vázquez neighborhood, including the construction of a pump station designed to eliminate severe flooding and water accumulation in the area.
