Mexican legislators emphasize territorial engagement and legislative activity
Senator Geovanna Bañuelos of the Labor Party has intensified her presence in Zacatecas, conducting assemblies in locations such as Jerez, Guadalupe, and Río Grande. Bañuelos stated that her legislative work extends beyond the Senate, focusing on transforming community demands regarding infrastructure, basic services, and public institution access into concrete actions and proposals.
In Puebla, Deputy Azucena Rosas Tapia presented her second activity report, highlighting the submission of 114 initiatives and 33 points of agreement. Her legislative focus includes education, health, indigenous rights, and rural development. Rosas emphasized the importance of working within the Mixteca region and noted specific proposals such as the criminalization of forced cohabitation to protect minors and measures to improve labor conditions for teachers.
