Mexican local officials Octavio Ocampo and César Jáuregui hold community listening sessions

Octavio Ocampo, the PRD promoter for the “Grandeza de Michoacán” agenda, addressed a municipal assembly in Maravatío, Michoacán, where social sectors—including entrepreneurs, transporters, merchants, athletes, women and producers—joined calls to strengthen local organization and improve living conditions. He urged dialogue with citizens, highlighted the importance of primary sectors for the municipal economy, and called for peaceful, participatory governance.

In Chihuahua, political figure César Jáuregui toured the Luis Donaldo Colosio neighborhood, meeting residents to hear their concerns and proposals. He stressed that direct contact with families is essential for designing policies that address real needs, referenced the upcoming 2027 elections, and warned against a centralist shift he claims could jeopardise recent development gains.
