Mexican military liberates 11 captives in Nuevo Laredo

The Mexican Army and National Guard rescued 11 individuals held against their will during surveillance patrols in the border municipality of Nuevo Laredo. The victims were found in good health and received food and medical attention from military personnel before being transferred to the General Prosecutor's Office (FGR) for further investigation.

During the operation, security forces seized a variety of items, including a short firearm, 15 magazines, 387 cartridges, and 101 mobile phones. Authorities also confiscated spike strips, known locally as 'ponchallantas,' which are used to puncture vehicle tires. No suspects were reported detained during this specific intervention.
