Mexican Municipal Treasury Mobile Events Offer Discounts on Vehicle, Tax and Fine Payments

The Municipal Parking Operator (OMEJ) in Ciudad Juárez will take part in a Mobile Treasury session on Saturday, 11 July, providing on‑site assistance to vehicle owners with cars stored in municipal impound lots. Attendees can obtain printed vehicle details, guidance on their status and discounts on related fees, including tax arrears, water charges and traffic fines.

In Hermosillo, the municipal treasury held a "Más beneficios, menos broncas" mobile desk at Parque Cachora, offering flexible payment agreements for property tax, water bills and municipal fines. The outreach aims to bring treasury services directly to residential neighborhoods, simplifying the regularisation of outstanding debts and improving revenue collection.

Both initiatives reflect coordinated efforts by local authorities in Mexico to reduce bureaucratic barriers, encourage timely payments and support residents with discounted rates and payment plans.
