The state government of Sinaloa approved an adjustment to public‑transport fares and the Directorate of Vialidad y Transportes (DVyT) is now overseeing compliance with the agreements reached with the permit‑holding operators. The operators pledged to keep the first and last bus services running on schedule, to add air‑conditioning to more units, and to equip buses with video cameras, panic buttons and other technological accessories. They also committed to repower vehicles by repairing engines, repainting bodies, and renewing brakes and drivetrain components before the start of the 2026‑2027 school cycle.

To ensure these obligations are met, the DVyT will run a permanent inspection operation, sanctioning the use of opaque curtains or glass that impede exterior visibility, and prohibiting loud horns. The director, Marco Antonio Osuna Moreno, asked passengers to report any problems through a dedicated WhatsApp line (6674210594), available around the clock.
