In San Luis Potosí, the municipal DIF, led by President Estela Arriaga Márquez, crowned Rogelio Mireles Sifuentes and Florina Martínez Chávez as the king and queen of adults for 2026‑2027. Mayor Enrique Galindo Ceballos highlighted the city's commitment to senior participation, health, and wellbeing, noting ongoing programs that support physical and mental activity for older residents.

Meanwhile, in Zaragoza, Coahuila, the municipality crowned Bertha Rosa Lira Martínez as queen of the adult senior 2026, with San Juanita Santana Galindo named princess and Bertha Cedillo as duchess. The ceremony, attended by DIF representatives and officials from neighboring towns, underscored efforts to foster active aging, social inclusion, and community engagement among older adults across the region.
