Mexican municipalities increase surveillance during vacation period

This includes increased patrols on highways, resorts, and irrigation ditches to manage the expected rise in visitors. While no major traffic accidents have been reported during the vacation period so far, officials are coordinating with Civil Protection to prevent water-related incidents and are advising travelers to avoid driving while fatigued.
