Mexican municipalities outfit cleaning crews and security forces with new gear

In Puerto Vallarta, the municipal government led by Mayor Luis Ernesto Munguía González handed out reflective uniforms, industrial boots, gloves and other safety equipment to the city’s public‑cleaning personnel. The package provides each worker with three reflective‑striped trousers, long‑sleeve shirts, boots and protective implements, and the mayor announced plans to expand the vehicle fleet and introduce performance incentives.

In the town of Manuel Doblado, Guanajuato, Municipal President Ing. Gustavo Adolfo Alfaro Reyes oversaw the delivery of a new security fleet, including one pick‑up, three patrol‑equipped sedans, ten bicycles, a motorcycle, ballistic helmets, vests and uniforms for police, traffic, civil protection and social‑prevention units. The event highlighted recent state‑municipal cooperation and a reported investment of about 15 million pesos in police infrastructure and equipment.

Both ceremonies emphasized improved safety for workers and the municipalities’ commitment to strengthening public‑service operations.
