Jesse & Joy announce professional separation of siblings

The musical duo Jesse & Joy is undergoing a significant professional transition following Jesse Huerta's decision to leave the group. Jesse announced his departure to focus on his mental health and personal well-being, as well as to launch his solo project, 'Jesse and the Supernovas'. He clarified that his new musical direction, including the single 'Interstellar', has been in development for nearly a year.

Joy Huerta confirmed she will continue performing under the name Jesse & Joy, with scheduled appearances through 2027. She noted that the decision was made unilaterally and that she learned of the change only 20 minutes before the public announcement. Despite the professional split, both siblings emphasized that their family bond remains intact.

The announcement follows various rumors regarding the cause of the separation. Joy addressed these speculations, denying rumors of family conflict or infidelity involving her husband and Jesse. She described the family as 'untouchable' and stated that while there has been little communication recently due to their individual processes, the sibling relationship remains strong.
