Mexican Navy holds command change for Veracruz port protection unit

The Mexican Secretariat of the Navy (Secretaría de Marina) conducted a change of command ceremony for the Port Protection Naval Unit (UNAPROP) in Veracruz. The ceremony, held at the South Customs facilities of the Port Precinct, was presided over by Admiral Ramiro Lobato Camacho, Commander of the First Naval Region.

During the event, Captain Francisco Ignacio González del Carmen handed over command to Captain Miguel Francisco Chan García. This rotation is part of the permanent personnel rotation within the Mexican Navy, intended to ensure the continuity of missions involving the surveillance, inspection, and control of port facilities in coordination with relevant authorities.
