Mexican officials meet transporters and lagoon agencies to boost regional development

Deputy Nalleli Pedraza Huerta of the Michoacán state congress held a meeting with transporters in Lázaro Cárdenas, listening to their concerns and reaffirming a commitment to ongoing dialogue with productive sectors. She said, “Nuestro compromiso es mantener un diálogo abierto con todos los sectores sociales y productivos,” emphasizing the role of transporters in the state’s economy.

Acapulco mayor Leticia Lozano Zavala participated in a working session with the National Fund for Tourism (Fonatur) and multiple federal and state agencies to design a priority plan for the Mitla‑Coyuca lagoon system. The participants agreed on joint actions for sanitation, environmental conservation and citizen involvement to restore the lagoon and benefit surrounding communities.
