Mexican police arrest suspects in separate domestic and land‑dispute violence cases

In northern Mexico, municipal police arrested a 52‑year‑old man after he assaulted his 48‑year‑old partner and tried to force her out of their home. The victim called emergency services, and officers detained the suspect at the scene and transferred him to the public prosecutor’s office for investigation of domestic violence.

In Torreón, Coahuila, police detained a 49‑year‑old man after he allegedly threatened a neighbor with a .38‑caliber revolver during a dispute over land. The suspect fired several shots, fled in a truck, and was later intercepted by officers, who recovered the weapon and placed him in custody.

Both incidents resulted in arrests and are being processed under Mexico's criminal justice system.
