Mexican police detain ten suspected cannabis dealers in Quintana Roo

State prosecutors, the Navy and the National Guard carried out two raids in Cancún, seizing marijuana and arresting four men at addresses on Calle 84 and Avenida Rancho Viejo. The seized material was placed under evidence custody and the suspects were presented to the authorities.

In a related sweep in the Benito Juárez municipality, ten adults and one 16‑year‑old were taken into preventive detention on June 13. Six were charged with supplying cannabis, while four faced simple possession charges. All detainees will remain in custody while their cases are processed.
