Mexican police detain youths in Sonora and Tijuana

Federal authorities in Sonora arrested 18‑year‑old José and 16‑year‑old Jonathan after they were found carrying a loaded 9 mm pistol with twelve rounds in the colonia Centro area. The suspects were taken to the municipal detention centre and handed over to the Fiscalía General de la República for investigation.

In Tijuana, Baja California, municipal police captured 20‑year‑old Sebastián “N” while he spray‑painted a community‑watch police booth in the Zona Centro. He was seized with two cans of aerosol paint and placed in the custody of the Fiscalía General del Estado for the vandalism charge.
