Mexican police enhance security through new recruits and tactical training

Security forces in Mexico are undergoing significant training and expansion. In Aguascalientes, Governor Tere Jiménez presided over the graduation of 72 new officers from the University of Police and Security Sciences (Unpol). These graduates will join the State Public Security Secretariat as community policing and prison officers. The governor also inaugurated the 'Casa Táctica', a facility dedicated to the continuous professionalization and specialized training of security forces.

In Querétaro, 31 police officers have begun a 190-hour tactical and urban operations course led by instructors from the Colombian National Police. The training, conducted at the Center for Training, Formation, and Security Research (CECAFIS), focuses on enhancing skills for interventions in urban environments. Participants include officers from Corregidora, El Marqués, Tequisquiapan, Huimilpan, and the State Penitentiary System Commission.
