Puebla authorities seize drug distribution sites in Cuautlancingo, detain two women
On July 3 2026, the Fiscalía General del Estado de Puebla (FGE) carried out an inter‑institutional raid on two commercial premises in the Sanctorum area of Cuautlancingo, Puebla. The operation was coordinated with the Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional, the Guardía Nacional and state police.
The first premises, a convenience store named “La Luz de Luna”, yielded the detention of María Diana N. and Laurentina N. and the seizure of 30 heroin‑like paste packets, 20 crystal‑type granule bags, 19 blister packs of Clobenzorex, 35 blister packs of methylphenidate, cash and a gram scale. The second location, an economic kitchen called “Trompa Cusca de la 57”, produced 7 blister packs of Clobenzorex, 15 of methylphenidate, 5 bags of crystal‑type powder and 19 zip‑lock bags of granulated crystal substances.
All confiscated items and the premises have been placed under the custody of the public prosecutor for further investigation into possible links with wider drug‑distribution networks in the region.
