Mexican police rescue four men and arrest three suspects in El Llano

State police in Aguascalientes carried out an operation in the community of El Novillo, municipality of El Llano, after a 911 call reported a disturbance. Officers found four men who said they were being held against their will and rescued them.

The police detained three suspects who identified themselves as Gumaro, 30, and Marco, 26, both from Aguascalientes, and Luis, 40, from Durango. During the search a short firearm, ammunition and several wrappers of a suspected crystal‑type substance were seized. The three detainees were handed over to the public prosecutor’s office, where an investigation file was opened. The rescued men were placed under protection and are expected to give statements as part of the investigation.
