Mexican police seize stolen vehicles in Guanajuato and Morelos

In Celaya, Guanajuato, municipal police stopped a Dodge Attitude that police say may have been used in a criminal act. The vehicle and its driver were taken into custody and handed to the state prosecutor for investigation.

During the same operation on the Querétaro‑Celaya highway, state road police recovered a stolen van in Apaseo el Grande that was transporting about 1.4 tonnes of meat. The van was seized and also turned over to the prosecutor’s office.

In Yautepec, Morelos, officers on a routine patrol found another stolen van abandoned in the La Joya neighbourhood with its windows down and doors open. With no occupants present, the vehicle was identified as reported stolen, towed to an impound lot and will be presented to the local prosecutor for further action.
