Mexican programs advance women entrepreneurs and respectful parenting

Alfredo Álvarez Cárdenas, a candidate for the state coordination of Transformación in Baja California, met with women entrepreneurs in Tijuana to discuss expanding social and economic opportunities. The group presented proposals to strengthen institutional support for female‑led businesses, which Álvarez said would be incorporated into the state's Master Plan.

The Institute Municipal de la Mujer of Torreón announced a psycho‑educational workshop titled “Crianza Respetuosa,” scheduled for 29 May. Led by psychologist Carmen Morales, the session aims to provide parents and caregivers with tools for respectful, empathetic child‑rearing and to promote healthier family environments.

Both initiatives reflect ongoing efforts in Mexico to enhance women’s participation in entrepreneurship and to improve family dynamics through educational programs.
