Mexican prosecutors investigate missing men in Estado de México and Tamaulipas

Authorities in the State of Mexico announced that 26‑year‑old José Ismael Cervantes Aranza, missing since 28 June, was found dead in Tultitlán. The Fiscalía General de Justicia of the State of Mexico opened a case after his disappearance and will now determine the cause and circumstances of his death.

In Reynosa, Tamaulipas, the Fiscalía General de Justicia activated a search bulletin for 32‑year‑old Jonathan Adiel Dávila Díaz, who vanished on 4 July. Officials suspect he may be a victim of a crime and have asked the public for information through emergency lines. Both investigations remain ongoing.
