Mexican Red Cross Monclova celebrates 74 years of service

The Mexican Red Cross Monclova delegation is celebrating 74 years of continuous service to the Central Region of Coahuila. Formally established on September 22, 1952, at the former El Polvorín site, the institution was founded under the presidency of Dr. Carlos Espinoza Flores.

In 1960, the organization began constructing its current facility following a 9,000-square-meter land donation from Pilar Ballesteros, widow of Bosque. Over seven decades, the delegation has relied on a network of rescuers, volunteers, medical personnel, and donors to provide emergency response and healthcare services to vulnerable populations in the region.
