Mexican rider Isaac del Toro, 22, of UAE Team Emirates‑XRG, has maintained third place in the Tour de France general classification after the eighth stage, staying within 3 minutes 27 seconds of race leader Tadej Pogačar. Del Toro crossed the 180‑km Périgueux–Bergerac stage in the peloton, finishing 46th with the same time as the stage winner, and retained the white jersey awarded to the best rider under 26.
