Alfonso Fernández Magallón, leader of Cartel de Los Reyes, captured in Michoacán FAST-MOVING

Mexican Army forces captured Alfonso Fernández Magallón, also known as Alfonso “N”, Poncho La Quiringua, in the municipality of Los Reyes, Michoacán. He is identified as the leader of the Cartel de Los Reyes and a former member of Carteles Unidos. The detainee faced an arrest warrant for illegal deprivation of liberty and mutiny. U.S. authorities offered a reward of up to five million dollars for information leading to his capture and have designated Carteles Unidos as a foreign terrorist organization.
