Mexican singers Julión Álvarez and Lucero unveil new mariachi releases

Julión Álvarez and his Norteño Band have issued a new single titled “Llévala a la Luna,” featuring mariachi accompaniment, alongside the track “Ranchero de corazón.” Both songs are now available on major digital platforms.

Actress‑singer Lucero announced her return to the studio with the mariachi album “Conexión Mexicana,” set for release in February 2027. The album’s lead single, “Fuertes Declaraciones,” includes collaborations with Majo Aguilar, Joss Favela and Los Ángeles Azules, and will be promoted with a concert at Mexico City’s Auditorio Nacional on 24 September.

Both releases highlight a renewed focus on traditional Mexican mariachi sounds blended with contemporary elements.
