Mexican social programs deliver nutritional support to children
Social welfare programs in Mexico are providing nutritional support to children through various state and municipal initiatives. In Puebla, the State System for Integral Family Development (SEDIF) is implementing a school feeding program in the Teziutlán microregion. The initiative provides both hot and cold breakfasts to more than 11,000 students, with a total of over 322,000 rations planned to support student development.
In Veracruz, the Tantoyuca City Council is distributing food supplies through the ‘First 1,000 Days’ and ‘Early Childhood’ nutritional programs. These efforts, coordinated between municipal, state, and federal levels, aim to safeguard the nutritional health of children and families in vulnerable situations by delivering supplies directly to households.
